I am hoping to get admissions in Canadian Medical schools this year. Does anyone know what a 3.91 GPA from States convert to OMSAS GPA?

I have started a second degree this year that will take me two years to complete. A lot of my credits from my first degree are carried over so that I don't have as many science courses to take for this second degree. As a result, I will not have that many advanced science courses to take nexr year, but rather a lot of electives. Will this look bad to admission committees (I plan to apply after my second degree is complete), especially if I don't want them to look at the grades from my second degree? Any advice would be great. Also, when you do a second degree, do most med schools solely look at the marks from this second degree or are they still influenced by the first one. So, if another applicant had about the same GPA as I do in my second degree, would I still be at a disadvantage since it is my second degree? Thanks.
