GPA for 3rd year applicants

From what i understand ottawa u only takes into account your two first years when applying in 3rd year.

 

as an ottawa resident, with a first year gpa of 3.7 and a second year gpa of 3.9-4.0 be accepted?

 

i guess that would average to 3.8 to 3.85 between the first two years.

Make that applying with a 3.8 for sure.

If you apply during your third year then you only have two years to go off of so that is all they can look at. They will put more emphasis on your second year

 

1st year x 1

2nd year x 2

 

Then divide by 3.

 

If you are an Ottawa resident the GPA cut-off in the past has been 3.7 for the english stream. But, then you have to pass the ABS evaluation. Ottawa accepts a lot of really high GPAs, but there is more to it than that.
