Science Recommendation Letters and my situation

Hey all,

 

First time posting in the "Apply to American Schools" board, glad for your time and consideration. I am wondering something about the science recommendation letters expected by most American med schools. I am a graduate student with the faculty of medicine at the university of toronto, would letters from this faculty count towards science LORs? Or is it only those who are in biology, chemistry, physics?

You may want to check schools' websites for any specific requirements. Yes, some schools do require undergraduate professors in the subjects you mentioned, while some have looser criteria. It all depends, so please check first and make a list.
