CarpeDiem:)
I'm doing my undergrad in a Canadian school that uses letter grades on the and a 10.0 cGPA scale on the transcript. I've done 3 years with 10 courses per year (5 each semester), each worth 3 credits. Could anyone please explain to me how the AMCAS letter grade conversion system might work for me? I'm a little confused by the conversion guide (http://www.lewisassoc.com/handouts/GradeConversion.pdf)... the transcript grade would be the letter grades from my transcript, and the AMCAS grade would be the letter grades converted to 4.0 scale (IE 3.7 for A-)... but what's the AMCAS weight and the semester hours? Please help!
