TPR vs Examkrackers VR strategy

I have both the TPR and Examkracker books and I noticed both have completely opposite strategies:

Examkrackers:

Don't skip anything

Just do the passages

Don't look at the timer, it just wastes time

TPR:

Do the easiest passages 1st

Skip the toughest passage so you get more time to do the other 6

Time yourself accordingly (approx. 1 min. / per question)

I am wondering which strategy is better? I find the TPR to be very Unconvincing because if you skip 1 passage and end up guessing it, the max. you will score is 11 assuming everything else is perfect. What do you guys think?

When I used Princeton strategy, I consistently got 9 or 10. When I switched to EK strategy, I consistently get 11 to 13. EK saved my butt. Do the EK method!! Princeton wastes your time and stresses you out. Also totally agreed that skipping a passage is REALLY BAD.
