jobrah
Hey guys, just wondering if you can help me out in applying to US schools. currently I'm applying for both MD and DO. My MCAT is 31P, I've shadowed a few different physicians (Anesthesia, Medical and Radio Oncologist and a general MD, for baout 20 hours each, while some are longer than that). I went to UWO, double major graduate in Medical Sciences, on the low end of ECs other than shadowing (think non-existant). My GPA for AAMCOM is 3.71, with 3.77 scGPA and 3.55 non. I'm applying to AZCOM, NOVA, WesternU/COMP, tourCOM-NY, and MSU. I just need help with what schools to apply for MD, I'm thinking of Wayne, GWU, Rosalind Franklin and NYU. Are these good, and are there others that I should apply to as well? Do you guys have any suggestions? I'm also applying to Western in october because I'm a SWOMEN. Thanks

nickster67
Thanks, yes, seems that Tufts is not a good choice I will remove it. I have sent an email to Tulane, see what they say. Do you know anything about Vanderbilt?

007antonymous
canadians have NO chance in state schools... that list has too many state schools... This is not true... Wayne State and Univ of Kentucky have traditionally been one of the most Canadian-friendly schools. I think Maryland and SUNY Upstate have also taken Candians before although SUNY has decreased this number due to changes in State regulations. 007antonymous
In fact, Wayne State has ~20 matriculating Canadians a year.
