Hushwawa
Hi all, I see that the Alberta International Med Graduate program requires IMG's to write their MCCEE before applying and cARMS requires the MCCQE part I and II. This is to apply for residency position in Alberta. So here goes: What is the difference between the MCCEE and MCCQE? Do IMG's (coming from a carribean school) have to write all THREE exams? When would you write the MCCEE? I know that the MCCQE Part 1 is written alongside USMLE Part II? I am so confused and no receptionist seems to know anything, perhaps someone with personal experience knows? Thank you in advance! HW
japlanet
Everything should be on the MCC website http://www.mcc.ca/en/exams/ In short, yes, anyone who wants to practice in Canada who graduated from outside of Canada must pass all three exams (must past the MCCEE in order to be allowed to write the MCCQEI, then MCCQEII would be taken at the same time as CMGs, that is after PGY1. CdnatWayne
If you are a US MD student, you do not need to write the MCCEE exam.
