I am on the same boat. If you did 2nd bacholar in order to put yourself in position to apply to medicine. Why not continue this path. Dentistry is awesome but you sound like you applied just to get a job. Well, make up your mind. Btw, I am starting 2nd bacholar in sep as well

Life is full of uncertainty, especially for those seeking dental or med school.

Even though dental school is your second choice or Plan B, you have achieved it!! I know, it is a mixed blessing.

To give this up for your dream of med school would be foolhearty in my view - as you may, or may not, be accepted. If not accepted, then what? WalMart?

My advice is become licenced as a dentist, perhaps even a specialist. Also, try MCAT to see what it brings. You can always apply to med school after becoming licenced. This way you have a fallback, a future - come what may. Don't gamble with your life having come this far.

There is another member here who is just like you. This member received interviews for both dental & medical school, and was accepted to both, so the decision was clear. But if only accepted into dental school and having dreamt of med school for years, the decision would have been like you. Life is not fair nor perfect. Play the cards you have been dealt, don't reshuffle the deck. Good luck!
