Guest Ian Wong
Here's an interesting .pdf article by the University of Toronto Medical Journal describing three of the major ways in which physicians can be compensated: fee-for-service billing, a capitation model, or being paid on a salaried basis. It covers both the advantages and disadvantages of each method of payment. You'll need Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer to read it. <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The Basics of Physician Compensation<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> www.utmj.org/issues/77.1/pdf/Health77-1.pdf Ian UBC, Med
