I am interested in doing some 10-20 hour electives/observerships at the university of Alberta hospital this summer. I will be registered with my school for the summer session. Does anyone know if there are other procedures besides contacting individual departments/physicians that I need to take care of? I’ve heard something about being registered with the college. Guest Lactic Folly Posted April 23, 2006 Report Share Posted April 23, 2006 I would check with the UGME.. if you are doing any more than observing, I think that is what being on the educational register of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta is for.
