Guest DoNair
I have a question about a higher-level course to be used for upgrading a pre-requisite course. Will pharmacology courses be considered for the biology pre-requisite? (The course I am am concerned about is PMCOL 415 - Cardiovascular Pharmacology) The UofA med website lists biology courses as: Biology (Microbiology, Zoology, Genetics, Botany, Physiology, Bacteriology, Immunology, Entomology) Pharmacology is similar to physiology, but it isn't specifically listed. I would ask the admissions office directly but they haven't yet replied to a previous email I sent (they are probably very busy now) so I thought asking you guys would be faster. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Guest Fizz29
Hi there, I tried to get them to use a 400-level pharmacology course as a pre-req in a special consideration request and my request was denied. For whatever reason, pharmacology does not appear to be classified as biology
