UofT degree = better chance of getting into UofT Dentistry?

Hello,

 

I am a 2nd year Life Sci student at McMaster. I am debating whether or not to transfer to UTM in my 3rd year and finish my 4-year degree at UofT. Some of MY reasons for changing include being closer to home, eating REAL FOOD, and most of all graduating with a UofT degree.

 

Do you think I have a better chance of gaining admission into UofT Dentistry if I have a UofT degree? Does it really matter? It was NOT surprising that UofT Dentistry admitrs more UofT students than any other university. However, I don't know how many UofT Students actually applied. Just a thought to consider...

 

Any help/feedback would be appreciated.
