gr4v1ty
Maybe i misread what you wrote, but you want to get into med and then start an architectural business? I have no idea how those two go together lol In any case, If you want med I would highly recommend kinesiology, or more specifically exercise science at concordia. A lot of people think f_d and I sound like broken records by now, but I sincerely do believe exercise science will give anyone who wants to get into med a decent shot at their dreams. For more info on exercise science, check the following link: http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48577 best of wishes.
future_doc
At Concordia in Exercise Science, I believe there is also a specialization in athletics.

As of what I really want to do after, the whole architechtural thing is not actually me doing houses. More like owning a company with architechts etc. It's a passion, I wouldn't make all the studies related to this, but more some part-time courses. The basics. Anyway, that's not the point here. What I wanted to say is that I want business to be part of my late-time life. And what about HEC? What do you think about that? I know you both suggested the Concordia Program, but what if it's not for me...
gr4v1ty
Well, that’s pretty much my own life story! bac HEC trilingual cohort (French, English, Spanish) bac 120 (1 year) bac kin (1 year) bac ergo (1 year) Aiming for medicine until I get it. No matter what. If I had known from the start, I would have NEVER gone to HEC. It’s hard to switch from HEC to medicine. HEC marks on bell-curved, meaning to get good marks, you have to be one of the best students in the class. It is feasible, but you better get excellent marks (>4.0 GPA) because IFG is LOW. I went up from 30 at HEC to 34 in bac 120, 35 in kinesiolgy and 36-37-38 (TBD) in ergo. And I am still the same student… Good luck with your choice! First of all, good uck with your admission. You seem pretty well determined. I am someone who always studied and I've been in Health Science from the beginning and I didn't fail that miserably. 30.5. I know how to put hard work on school and this is why business was one of my options. This is exactly what I feared about HEC... That the IFG will be low and even with good grades it will be hard :/ What was your GPA at the HEC. Maybe John Molson school of Business will be better? Is there a way we could know what is the IFG in those schools? If I know people who are there atm maybe? What is TBD? And how come with 35-36-37 you aren't in medicine yet? Dr Squicky
Because it's a cGPA (cumulated Grade Point Average) or c-CRA (cumulated Cote de Rendement à l'Admission). Overall, it will give me between 32.000 and 33.000 for this year. 2013 cut off for bac non-connexes will determine if I will get or not the interviews. First of all, good uck with your admission. Hey Dr. Squicky je suis surprise que tu ne penses pas à appliquer à ULaval(à moins que je me trompe et tu l'ai fait haha)... le cut off de l'an passé s'est rendu jusqu'à 31,331 (cote du dernier bachelier admis). Je pense que tu as bcp plus de chances là-bas étant donné que tu as déjà complété un bac
