What's a good dat score?

Hi everyone,

I'm know to the whole Dent application process so I had a couple of questions. First of all, what consistitutes a good DAT score? I'm at the U of Manitoba. For medicine the faculty here puts out stats of acceptions and interviews granted and what the corresponding GPA and MCAT mark was. That gives a realistic idea of what kind of score is good or bad. Dentistry, however, doesn't do that. Out of 30 what is a considered a good score or what is the avg score of people accepted?

Thanks

For manitoba I heard the avg dat was 21 last year (highest its ever been apparently), at uofa it was a little above 21 (21.18 or something); western takes a cumulative of all your scores, i don't think its too important but the average was 97ish i think.

But yeah, as LestatZinnie said, >20 is good, but the higher the better as it looks like dentistry is getting more competative as the years push on,
