Guest heh Posted April 4, 2002 Report Share Posted April 4, 2002 how about saying that medicine would serve as a second choice should the dental application fall through? Then try to give reasons why you would choose dents over meds (better hours, enjoy working with hands, etc) I know this is not good advice, but if you didn't also apply to that school for meds they might not be able to find out if you lied and told them "no"... Guest toothy Posted April 6, 2002 Report Share Posted April 6, 2002 I don't know about anything that specific, but it's not uncommon for them to ask about "alternative careers" that the applicant is interested in, and why they are choosing dentistry instead of other health professions.
