Biochien
I applied for both these schools and am curious, which school would you prefer to go to for OT (considering research opportunities, placements, job outlook, and scheduling of classes)? Pink Tulip
This kind of question has been answered in a lot of the other threads, I'd suggest you take a look there. Specifically this one. For what you're looking for, UfT - more varied placement opportunities in urban health (no rural) - scarce job outlook after graduation - classes are M-F 9-5 - not much research opportunities Mac - placements in both rural and urban (one mental health placement is required so if you aren't interested in that Mac might not be the best choice, but you never know) - as scarce as Toronto for jobs - classes are 3 times a week? (unsure, but it's significantly less because you spend your time in the library instead of in the classroom) - more research opportunities here The advantage to Toronto is TTC. Not having to have a car for placements can be a deciding factor for students. Learning style is different as well. It's lecture style versus find-it-yourself style.
