mikeowsoft
Do you guys know how to apply for radiology fellows in Canada and the US? Do you just look up the program and send them a CV? I know that for US IR fellowships they have an app program. What other programs require you apply online? Where do you find out about this? Lactic Folly
Pretty much. One important thing to note is that the timeline for fellowship applications is generally even earlier than that of CaRMS (closer to two years prior to start date). Positions do become available over time, but most residents will not be waiting around in hopes of scrambling into an open position. I think neuro and IR in the US have match programs. Otherwise, it is as you said - you look up / contact the program and send in an application. There are listings through specialty societies (breast imaging, skeletal radiology, etc.) as well as through other organizations (e.g. RSNA), but no one comprehensive updated source that I am aware of. In that respect, it's more like applying for a job in the real world.
