Bede
Is there a quick reference that provides presentation statistics? For example: Of patients complaining of RLQ abdo pain, 30% are diagnosed with appendicitis, 20% gastroenteritis, 15% kidney stones, etc. The reference would have all the most common symptoms and presentations. I know this can be found in literature, but that would take forever to sort through for every symptom.
justletmein
I highly doubt you would find accurate statistics...... And if you did, the numbers would not be very useful clinically.

thebouque
For most chief complaints, it would be like: Pt has RLQ pain: 80% non specific, 5% gastroenteritis, 5% appendicitis, 5% malingering/drug seeker, 4% Gyn or other ''common'' stuff, 1% zebra
