NeuroBurgers
Hi, I am a bit confused as to how the course load requirement works. First year: 4 courses a semester (standard for McGill LifeSci undergrad) + 1 summer course Second year: 5 courses a semester Third year: 4 course semester + 5 course semester Fourth year: 5 courses a semester Am I still eligible to apply? collegedude22
Dalhousie looks at either your best 3 full-time years overall if you've already graduated, or your most recent 2 consecutive full-time years. Dalhousie defines full-time as 5 full courses per year, and does not count summer courses as part of the 5 full course requirement. From the admissions website: "To be eligible to apply to Dalhousie Medical School, you must carry a full course load (5 full credits) in each academic year you indicate to be assessed. This must be the case regardless of the course load required by the program in which you are enrolled." It looks like you have neither two consecutive years of 5 full courses, nor 3 years of 5 full courses, so it appears you are not eligible to apply. You would have to complete another year of undergraduate work.
