dr-m-s
does anyone know of a third year applicant who got in with a gpa that is below average, like less than 3.7?
Head Squeeze
does anyone know of a third year applicant who got in with a gpa that is below average, like less than 3.7? There always are exceptions. Try your best. Don't lose hope! Good Luck
penguin92
Doesn't hurt to try. But unless your verbal is high (like at least an 11), you'll need to ace CASPER. Even then no one knows
dr-m-s
thanks for the positive feedback.! .. I was thinking that with a gpa as low as mine, I would not have shot as a third year
benge88
^ dude take your trolling elsewhere OP - do your best, and apply anyway. Casper injects just enough randomness into the equation that you never know what can happen!
Let'sGo1990
does anyone know of a third year applicant who got in with a gpa that is below average, like less than 3.7? this definitely happened when casper was 46%. now that the emphasis has shifted to gpa, i'm sure it still happens, just less frequently. check out the acceptance thread for examples. dr-m-s
^ dude take your trolling elsewhere haha, took the words right out of my mouth or more like my future post OP - do your best, and apply anyway. Casper injects just enough randomness into the equation that you never know what can happen! this definitely happened when casper was 46%. now that the emphasis has shifted to gpa' date=' i'm sure it still happens, just less frequently. check out the acceptance thread for examples.[/quote'] thanks for the encouragement! However, I still have a year to apply as a third year, but my first year GPA was making me feel a bit too anxious. However, I am sure than I can get an awesome second year with hard work and dedication, and perhaps even apply as a third year regardless of my GPA being on the lower side, as you guys have suggested
oops_letstryagain
I'm not sure if you're trolling, but by the simple definition of an "average", there have to be people with grades lower than a 3.7 getting in, otherwise it wouldn't be an average. Nowhere does it say that being a 3rd year impacts you negatively.
