decentcigars
Hello everyone, I just have a quick question about omsas course length. In my first year second semester I (along with what I assume was the rest of mcgill freshman science) took only four courses due to the credit limit- 3 were 4 credits and one was 3 for a total of 15, and the maximum is 16 so as you can see it isnt possible to take 5 courses. I have heard that shouldnt be a problem the way schools view course credits BUT when I put those courses into OMSAS, for that year it shows an OMSAS length of 9/10. My question is does that put me at a disadvantage/disqualify me from some schools? I am applying going into 3rd year now with 2nd year as 10 courses. Thanks!
