There are certain equations that need to be memorized (kinematics, F=ma to name a few). Equations are usually provided in the passages though. Its necessary to memorize certain equations for the stand alone questions. I remember that in the Princeton Review course the physics instructor mentioned "the big ten." There were 10 equations that we needed to memorize, but I cant remember what they are! Sorry!
