Can you include something in your top 3 choices for Ottawa if you began the activity in high school and continued it throughout university? For example, volunteering for an organization

You can list these activities, but U of Ottawa is only going to recognize the years you put in during your post-secondary studies. I would still list the activities for all the years that you were involved though, as this could be useful information for other schools.

 

Keep in mind that if you have a better activity for your Top 3 for Ottawa, you might be better off using it if you put more time into it during your university years. There are lots of things to consider here.
