pinkhoney
Hey everyone. So, this is going to be my first year applying to OT. But since my thesis and other fourth year courses are year long, I won't have my final marks until April. That means all the schools will end up looking at my third and SECOND year grades (awful!). I don't have much hope of getting in. The thing is, I do have a professor who can give me a great reference. But I've only been in her class since September. If I get rejected, is there a problem with me using the reference letter she gave me to apply again next year? I'm going to have graduated by then. Do I have to get a completely new reference? Has anyone here reused a reference? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
future_doc
I don't know the protocol for your program, but generally speaking you do not want a stale letter, rather one that is dated recently, so I would ask for an identical letter if that suits you. Good Luck!
