Guest wassabi101 Posted June 15, 2003 Report Share Posted June 15, 2003 Thanks everyone!! I don't think it has really sinked in yet, except that I took off the weekend to relax and party a little. For anyone who's in Montreal, the Fringe festival is on and in full gear (along Rachel and St. Laurent) and the shows are amazing! I saw "Le No Man's Land Show" last night, a portrayal of the unattainable and our moments of deepest vulnerability....the whole show was done in the nude and the mix of theatre, dance and media tech made it probably one of the best theatric performances at the Fringe I've ever seen! Nicole wasn't able to tell me where I was on the waiting list but I did find out a bit more on how it works when it comes to the French vs. English stream! She said that everyone is ranked according to interview score (and then GPA) regardless of whether you're in the French versus English stream. When there's a spot available in the French stream, they call the first French applicant. Meaning, it's kind of like there's two lists, so although I got a call thursday, I could have been one of the first French applicants, but after 30 English ones. I"ll let you know if I find out anything more in the weeks to come! Avenir, so looks like we'll be classmates!
