Thank you, Ana There are no DO schools in Canada, or not the kind youre thinking of that exist in the states. Graduates of osteopathic colleges in Canada are not considered physicians. You would need to attend a DO school in the US. The DO from the US is a recognized medical degree in Canada. You need to do residency regardless of what medical degree you have. We'll likely hit 100+ matruculants a year by the 2015 entering class (i.e. in 2 years) - on par with the number going into USMD schools each year. Much sooner than I expected. NOSM has a class size of ~60 year. We basically have a NOSM sized school training Canadian USDOs now.
