PositiveOutlooks
Hi - this is a question for those who have applied or been admitted to the OT program at Queens or UofT. I have heard that these two schools consider more than just GPA in their assessment of applicants, and that good experience and impressive supporting essays also play an important role in the consideration of each applicant. Is this true? I'm wondering if some people will share some of the lower GPA's that were accepted in the last couple years? And for those of you who were successful in securing a spot in the program, do you think your essays and references sort of made up for having not such a strong GPA? Thank you! thepeak12
For U of T, if you don't have a strong GPA you can make up for it by having a lot of experience (e.g., in research/clinic)
