FM residency in canada

Hi

this dr awan from saudi arabia.

i am working as a g p here.

heard alot about family medecine canada... will some body help me and answer my questions

1. what exams are to be passed?

2.does score counts?

3.how can IMG apply for residency?

4. what are the chances of getting FM residency?

You must be a Canadian citizen / permanent resident to do a family med residency in Canada.

 

(Unless, of course, your government is sponsoring your seat, in which case you need to check with them to find out what's required.)

In brief,

 

1. Exams: MCCEE to start (and probably NAC-OSCE)

2. Scores count? Yes

4. Chances - poor (in general, less than 20%)
