avatarkorra
Hi I have heard of an event going on at my campus on the 8th, called the Mock MCAT. Has anyone every been to this event and tell me what its like and how it works? Is it basically as if you were writing your actual MCAT? Do you think it does a good job of showing you what you will be up against?
DrDistress
Is this offered by Kaplan?
avatarkorra
I think the one I signed up for is by Princeton.
Savac
I've run several of these events with TPR. It's a full length test, but it's on paper rather than a computer. They will score the test, and you generally receive your scores within a week
DrDistress
Well I did one from Kaplan, but I think the general idea is that they make these mock tests really hard so you don't score as well and therefore are more inclined to take their courses. Don't get me wrong though, I think courses are really helpful! But just don't be discouraged if you don't score as well on the practise test.
