iostream
We have 10 blocks of rotations at our school, with 2 blocks being electives, and the 8 others being obgyn, psych, IM, surgical electives, peds, IM electives, gen surg, and family med. I'm most interested in pathology/lab med right now, and I've heard that it doesn't really matter what schedule I choose. I have heard that having gen surg/surgical selectives may be helpful in understanding grossing during path electives. Is there anything else I should be taking into account? Are there any rotations in particular I should take before electives? Would it be useful to do a selective in hematology or oncology prior to hemepath electives? Thanks!
