Panic Attack!

Well I just did a mock interview with the director of my department - and pretty much blew it.

 

On a normal, conversational, day-to-day basis I am exuberant, an excellent communicator, succinct, funny, happy, occasionally sarcastic.

 

In an interview setting I suddenly become stone-faced, dry mouthed, wishy-washy, unable to come to a clear point, indecisive, and unconfident.

 

The makings of a wonderful interview :eek

 

My mock interview was tremendously helpful in that he helped me to identify areas to improve - I know where I go wrong... my problem is knowing whether I can pull it off or not (I start interviewing in 2 days).

 

I'm feeling rather ill right now :x

 

I'm just looking for a virtual hug since we're all going through this interview process.
