Guest nonce Posted March 15, 2004 Report Share Posted March 15, 2004 I've read some thigns about the role of generics in Africa, and other less developed countries facing a large problem with Aids. I was wondering, what exactly is the controversy regarding this? It seems to me that it is a very good solution, and i dont really see the negatives....other than for the pharmaceutical companies who loose money....i mean, that should really be the least of our concerns, shouldnt it? A whole people could potentially be wiped out by this, and we are worried if the pharmaceutical companies are going to make 4 billion dollares instead of 6 billion dollars? Am i missing something?
