1fuzzy2dino3
hello friends, in a two year program like family medicine, when most residents are doing electives and selectives; how do you schedule your vacation weeks? i would not want to take a week off in a two week elective, but wouldn't want to do so over my core family medicine blocks either -- but do ppl have to resort to taking vacations during their core FM so as to not confilct with elecs/selecs? thanks for your input! Karma
Well, from what I know, rotations in residency are at least one month long, most of them being longer than that. So it shouldn't be a problem for you to schedule vacation time during the longer rotations, like most residents do.
