Guest jjd322
Does any know how Canadian applicants are being treated in the application process in ivy league schools? I mean, in Canadian schools, interviewees are choosen based on provincial status...for example, if you apply to Ottawa you have a higher chance of getting an interview if you are a Ontario resident. Now, are Canadian applicants normally being treated at international students (lower chance of getting in) or out of state US students (higher chance of getting in)? Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
Guest moo
In general, especially at private schools, Canadians are treated as out-of-staters. There are some private schools, however, that have affiliations with their state and in return for funding, must accept a certain number of in-state people. (Rush, MCW are two that come to mind.) The top schools generally don't care where you come from. They just want the best people.
