Guest tmacgirl
Is it true that Yale only accepts Canadians if they did a year of undergraduate study in the states?

Guest tmacgirl
Thanks, I'm on their website right now, I guess this kind of throw everyone off. "International applicants must have completed at least one year of study in an American college prior to application" I guess they are like other schools that don't consider Canadians "International". Thanks alot. This guves me new hope.
Guest ilitvino
Here is an important point. When a US school states that they require at least one year of undergraduate training in the US -- it is really for applicants from Europe and other contires. Canada enjoys a unique status. Canadian undergradauate is just like US undergraduate. Most schools will GLADLY wave that requirement for you. I strongly urge everyone to contact (phone) each school directly to ask that question. I will have no doubt that Yale will consider your application. Paying for a medical education in the US though, is a separate matter. Guest studentz
You will get full financial aid (equal to your unmet need) if you're lucky enough to get into Yale med. The school is rich as hell.
