Guest Madz25
Hi, How long after submitting the AMCAS application can you expect to receive the secondary applications? I submitted mine last week and have received secondaries from 2 schools via e-mail. Can I complete those and submit them before the schools get my AMCAS application (AMCAS status is 'ready for review')? Thanks in advance! Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, The turnaround time really depends on the US medical school and what they do with the initial application. For example, some medical schools will send a secondary to all applicants whereas others will send secondaries selectively, i.e., only to those students who pass an initial screening process. You might wish to break the process of secondary applications down to the level of the schools to which you applied, given that the processes can vary so widely. Cheers, Kirsteen
