Guest krnboy
I'm not really sure what they are, but I heard that some med school requires you to have them. I'm going to 1st year of undergrad at a university in the fall, and I was wonder when I should take the required courses for these training/certificate... Guest mying
Well, if you're interested in medicine you'd probably find them interesting if you took them next week. That said, the First Aid certificate is valid for three years. The CPR certificate may be required to be within the 12 months prior to starting med school (depends on the school). Therefore, even if you take the first aid now, you'll probably have to take it again. But then, first aid & cpr are good things to have for jobs, volunteering, resumes, personal interest, etc... so it might be worth it to have it sooner rather than later. There's a discussion about it here: pub125.ezboard.com/fpreme...ID=9.topic
