Guest ikaj
Hi, I hope this wasn't discussed elsewhere in the forum, but what really is the difference between DOs and MDs. Are DOs kinda like chiropractors? I understand they have a different phylosopy or whatever-a hollistic approach rather than a disease-centered approach and it is easier to get into a DO school than an MD school, but don't DOs get similar education and prescribe medication etc.
Guest Ian Wong
Since there are no osteopathic med schools in Canada, there's been very limited discussion about DO schools on this forum. Here's a link to one thread though, in the Applying to American schools forum: pub125.ezboard.com/fpremed101frm21.showMessage?topicID=85.topic Ian
