dreamcometrue
Hi! Does anyone know if the CPR (level C+AED) can be done at the YMCA? I just registered for the course there, but noticed the uOttawa website syas "you can sign up with any of the following national organizations: the Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, Lifesaving Society, and Canadian Ski Patrol" Thanks!! Books
Darn it, I never noticed that. The French website says it has to be an association recognized by the WSIB, and they only state the Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, Lifesaving Society, and Canadian Ski Patrol as examples (and not the only possibilities). I hate that they're not consistent between the French and the English versions of the website... I just got mine at First Life 4 U (which is recognized by the WSIB), but I guess now I'll have to check with uOttawa tomorrow.
Belle_MD
I signed up for the one offered at Ottawa U - They are offering classes over the next 2 weeks. If anyone else is doing a recertification and wants to join me at Ottawa U next Monday let me know! Would be great to meet a future classmate! dreamcometrue
I just found out that the course I registered for is not actually the right one, and the only date the course is offered is mid-july. Does anybody know if a letter written by my instructor will be sufficient for August 1st, until I get the actual card? Thanks!
doctorfresh
When I did mine I got a temporary card that I sent in that everyone else in the class also received. I'm sure that will be sufficient as usually official certification card takes a while to arrive.
