extra year in uni continued

I just started third year and my GPA is not higher than the cut off for most med schools.

How would an extra year in university be considered for schools beside Western.

If you graduate at the end of the fifth year, then I don't think that any school will care that you take five years ... if you're wondering about specific schools, though, you might want to contact the school and ask :)

you can take as many years as you want to in undergrad. I am sure beyond six years they will start to question your motives. I am in the same predicament as you, and I will work harder this year and get that 4.0.
