medicalchanel
I find that when I do the Physical/Chem section, calculations really slow me down, especially when converting from kg to g, or doing mole calculations. Any advice or good ideas to follow/practice to do? I've tried estimating as recommended by TPR but I still seem to be very slow in exponents. nick
As a former math student ... practice, practice, practice. IMO the MCAT is as much about mastering the fundamentals (exponent & log rules, acid/base reactions & redox, enzyme function, etc.) as it is about familiarity with the advanced stuff and comfort with new material. KA is supposed to have lots of math problems at this level.
