Hey,

 

I'm not sure if you read the forums anymore but I had a question for you seeing how you are

 

a) a graduate student

accepted at Dal for 2004

 

I was wondering if you had passed in your thesis already since the Dal site says that grad students need to have done this before they can be accepted. I wasn't sure if that meant if you hadn't you wouldn't even be offered conditional acceptance (maybe they'd defer you until they saw your thesis was completed?).

 

I extended the scope of my work in January so that I would only finish in mid-July instead of the planned April finish in exchange for a shot at being published. I'm wondering if this would exclude me from a chance at being accepted at Dal?

<pagetext>I dont know about you guys/gals but Ive had several "near-heart-attack" experiences .... three times now Ive opened my mail box and had a letter from Dal for my room mate. :eek All I see is the Dal Emblem and Admissions office ... :eek <gulp> He is in Comp. Sci. at MSVU so I dont know what the H3LL he's recieving these personally-frightening letter for .... Of course each time I thought it was "THE" letter.

 

Im trying not to check every single Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday but I cant help myself. I know that Wednesday is probably too early and Friday is too late but I do anyway ... perhaps there is a Obsessive Compulsive Message Board that I can sign up for to seek help

- Does DAL's program provide ample opportunity to try many different types of medicine before having to decide on a discipline?

 

- Would you decrease or increase the amount of COPS learning? What about lecture time?

 

- For someone who believes they learns better through lectures, is it difficult to make the transition to the group-learning? Do you feel like you're missing out?
