Dal's Admissions Mistake

As an OPP, I've spent the day kinda depressed, thinking why doesn't Dal want me?

 

Then today I receive a letter from Dal indicating that my application wasn't considered because I did not make the MCAT cut of 30, with a min of 9 in one section only.

 

I scored a 31R, 11-10-10 when I wrote the MCAT in August! I know my most my recent scores were sent because the other schools received them and I requested them all at the same time.

 

So I'm pretty upset and disappointed. Sure, I may not have gotten an interview, but I would have liked a chance! I didn't complete my application work until I was certain I would make the cut-offs.

I'm "patiently" :rolleyes waiting for a letter back from Dal as I'm sure most of you are, but in case of a rejection letter I was wondering what is best to do with my life while I continue to reapply.

I'm currently finishing up a B.Sc at Memorial and I was wondering if it would be best to work next year or go back to school. I'm thinking that school is probably the best option to increase my chances, but I have no idea what to do.

I was thinking about doing fast-track nursing (2 full years) while reapplying, but I've heard that Dal doesn't like taking you out of such programs, they'd like you to finish first. I was just wondering if there is any truth to that, and if so, should I continue on with 5th year undergrad? :x
