nezring
I'm a non-trad student interested in attending Mac and wondering if I have any chance at all of getting in... I did a BSc at McGill with a GPA of 3.70, and went back to do an MSW with a GPA of 3.94. I'm not an Ontario resident by Mac's standards (I will have only been there a year by the time I apply). but Mac is best for me because of the 3-year program, proximity to family, and the fact that I don't have all of the standard pre-reqs other med schools require (or if I do, they would be "outdated" by now). I know that not being an Ontario resident is a HUGE barrier... but I am wondering if getting an amazing CARS/CASPer score would potentially get me to an interview, or if there's just no chance at all no matter how well I do on those two things. Thanks!
medway12
Look at this year's IP stats in the interview invites thread.
nezring
Do you mean OOP? Wouldn't I need to be in ON for 3 years to be IP?

Edict
There is definitely a chance for sure, i actually don't believe it is that much significantly harder as an OOP than as IP. A huge majority of applicants to McMaster are IP since Ontario's IP regulations are so lax.
