What Are My Chances?

Recommended Posts

I'm a non-trad student interested in attending Mac and wondering if I have any chance at all of getting in...

I did a BSc at McGill with a GPA of 3.70, and went back to do an MSW with a GPA of 3.94. I'm not an Ontario resident by Mac's standards (I will have only been there a year by the time I apply). but Mac is best for me because of the 3-year program, proximity to family, and the fact that I don't have all of the standard pre-reqs other med schools require (or if I do, they would be "outdated" by now).

I know that not being an Ontario resident is a HUGE barrier... but I am wondering if getting an amazing CARS/CASPer score would potentially get me to an interview, or if there's just no chance at all no matter how well I do on those two things.

Thanks!
