dynomedasaur
Just wondering if any current clinical clerks (MSI3-4's) could provide insight into the following FM electives: 1 - Family Medicine - Health of the Homeless (Family Medicine / Health of the Homeless) 2 - Family Medicine - Inner City Health (Family Medicine / Inner City Health) Both elective locations have not been listed yet so I'm not sure what kind of facilities I'll be working in. I was also curious to see if the preceptors will be present long enough to observe my clinical ability and provide reference letters at the end of the rotation? mononoke
There isn't a location because you'll be rotating through the various inner city health associates' sites. If I had to put down one location, probably St. Michaels hospital. These are also 3-4 week electives so you'll definitely have enough time with the preceptors. These electives are quite competitive, taking 1 student each block so if you can't get it, try doing a FM rotation at St. Michaels instead, you'll likewise see an inner city demographic as well
