reqaiPT
To help prepare for MMI's, how can I practice for them with someone else who also wants to go into PT? But before that, i must know... what kind of scenarios are given in MMI's? I'm guessing it can be really about anything like a neurological, MSK, cognitive etc impairment/disability, and we have to talk about what to do with the client? Anyone who's done MMI's can say what kind of questions are asked (if thats allowed on here)? thanks
NutritionRunner
MMI questions can run the gamut from scenarios (with or without actors) to "tell me about a time you had to deal with conflict/group work/multidisciplinary teams" to ethical dilemmas. Some questions may seem to have nothing to do with your future health care career, at least on the surface, but they are trying to get at characteristics that they are looking for. I've even had MMIs where one of the stations asked me about something on my C.V.! Note that all of these types of questions are described in publically-available resources, so seek those out and practice your responses to those questions. There are plenty of free resources out there on how to prepare for MMIs, and your university may even offer MMI prep sessions for students to alumni, for free, or for a nominal charge. I would use those resources before I would pay an external company for help with MMI prep.
