But I do know of people who've been able to modify their study plan: one of my classmates just decided to do a combined MD/MSc degree, and a guy in the class above me is doing a combined LLB/MD. As far as I know the latter case is NOT an official program, but is something he and the two faculties have swung together for his own interest. You might be able to do something similar. . . I heard some rumblings about adding it to the programme.. There is a chance it may happen in the next couple of years and if you are interested in it, at least asking about it might help push that a little.
