9261
Hi there! Already submitted UWO ABS and PS but was wondering if Question 2 and 3 of the PS had to be personal? I just answered them without any reference to personal experiences/stories/observations. I get how the first question is specially a "personal statement". Just realized the instructions said: A three-part personal statement is required. The statements allow you to highlight information in the autobiographical sketch and to identify academic/humanities strengths along with other achievements. The ability to succeed in a non-academic area may reflect characteristics that allow the Admissions Committee to predict success in dental studies. Similarly, if you have overcome a significant disadvantage and achieved significant success, this may also demonstrate these same characteristics. The personal statement must be authored entirely by you. Are all three parts supposed to be "personal"? WOuld love to hear from applicants this cycle or those who got in last year
ravenjays
I don't think so. The first part of the personal statement certainly should tell them what you would like them to know about you, but I feel like Part B and C were okay to be a bit objective. ImASoldier
I agree with Ravenjays, the first part was the most personal and the parts 2 and 3 were more "questions".
