Guest MDMAYBE Posted June 13, 2003 Report Share Posted June 13, 2003 I a little confused how this waitlist works....by June 13 Omsas recieves info from Ontario applicants and sends it to the Medical schools who start taking people off the waitlist,...how do some people get responses today and yester ? Guest jmh2005 Posted June 13, 2003 Report Share Posted June 13, 2003 When you receive an offer, it is in triplicate...one you keep, one you send back to the university, and one you send to OMSAS. Clearly, McMaster would know who is coming and who declined as the offers come back, the deadline was today. The list they will get from OMSAS today or Monday will then allow Mac to shorten their waitlists because many people on Mac's waitlist would have received outright offers elsewhere and have accepted them, allowing Mac to remove them from the McMaster waitlist.
