Western Interview Prep

Recommended Posts

Got waitlisted at UofT :/ Honestly, I felt like in prepping for the UofT interview I focused too much on prep courses which provide "strategies" and "tips" rather than actually reflecting on my own past experiences and personal qualities and more importantly PRACTICING with other people which I think would have better prepared me for the real thing. I honestly feel like if I did LESS formal MMI prepping I would have done better lol (although it did help for the drawing station). If I get an invite at Western I'm going to focus more on just practicing with other people, worrying less about how I structure my response but more about reflecting on who I am as a person, past experiences that have shaped who I am and why I would be well suited for dentistry.  From what I've heard Western uses a more wholistic and traditional style of interview so I hope this strategy will work well.

This is basically what I did and it worked really well. :)
